BFtec Nominated as Finalist for Hessen-Champion Award
Curtain Call for Medium-Sized
Enterprises! The "Hessen-Champion" Award was presented for the 11th time during the Hessen Entrepreneur Day to small and medium-sized enterprises from Hessen for their outstanding
accomplishments. BFtec was once again among the winners!
A panel of business, political and media experts selected 14 finalists from almost 70 participating companies in the three categories of world market
leader, job creator and innovation.
BFtec was awarded a certificate by Hessen's State Premier Volker Bouffier, Minister of Economic Affairs Dieter Posch and the President of the Verein hessischer Unternehmer
(VhU) [Association of Hessian Entrepreneurs] Dieter Weidemann and honored as one of five finalists in the "Innovation" category for its innovative development
"Steel-Root". The Steel-Root foundation can be installed without any concrete and regardless of soil characteristics and thus is
cost-effective, recyclable and extremely stable. Being selected as a finalist alone is a great
honor: "A company that makes the final for the best enterprises in Hessen is definitely a
winner," explains VhU President Weidemann.
The winners of every category were honored by Bouffier, Posch and Weidemann during the second
stage. The company Dipl.-Ing. W. Bender GmbH & Co. KG from the central Hessian town of Grünberg came out on top in the
"world market leader" category. The winner in the "job creator" category was the online media firm EOL Group GmbH from the central Hessian town of Fernwald and the winner in the
"innovation" category was Brothers Bode GmbH & Co. KG from Kassel.
The Hessen Entrepreneur Day with more than 1000 participating companies and the Hessen-Champion awards offer small to medium-sized enterprises in Hessen a great opportunity to present their abilities and show that they are able to compete on the international market and play with the big boys when it comes to creating jobs on the world market and making
innovations.
