"The pace is accelerating," reports Sebastian Kellner who is constantly visiting the different solar energy park construction sites all over Germany in order to provide support for the use of BFtec foundations. Thanks to different, individually adapted foundation solutions, BFtec developers make it possible to generate solar energy even on especially difficult substrates, for instance, on landfill bodies, old contaminated industrial sites, sandy soils and marshlands. "110 megawatts of solar energy rest in the meantime on our foundations," he reports, "and it is becoming more and more every
day."
BFtec specialists are frequently called in only when nothing else works, for instance, when the subsoil was not examined sufficiently. It would be more cost-effective to rely on competent advice that takes the soil conditions into account from the very beginning. "After all, we always strive to deliver the optimal solution for our customers," Kellner emphasizes. Simple pile-driven foundations are installed, of course, wherever that is
sufficient.
