Pilot Batch for Steel-Root completed successfully!

Basic requirement for a BFtec GmbH product is the intense scrutiny in many different applications.

Among the critical eyes of external geologists, structural engineers and technicians the Steel-Root system has been tested. The results confirm the excellent suitability of Steel-Root for small wind turbines, photovoltaic systems, solar tracking systems, noise barriers, anemometer masts, etc.

Curtain Call for Medium-Sized Enterprises! The "Hessen-Champion" Award was presented for the 11th time during the Hessen Entrepreneur Day to small and medium-sized enterprises from Hessen for their outstanding accomplishments. 

BFtec was once again among the winners!

A panel of business, political and media experts selected 14 finalists from almost 70 participating companies in the three categories of world market leader, job creator and innovation.

"The pace is accelerating," reports Sebastian Kellner who is constantly visiting the different solar energy park construction sites all over Germany in order to provide support for the use of BFtec foundations. Thanks to different, individually adapted foundation solutions, BFtec developers make it possible to generate solar energy even on especially difficult substrates, for instance, on landfill bodies, old contaminated industrial sites, sandy soils and marshlands. "110 megawatts of solar energy rest in the meantime on our foundations," he reports, "and it is becoming more and more every day."

BFtec specialists are frequently called in only when nothing else works, for instance, when the subsoil was not examined sufficiently. It would be more cost-effective to rely on competent advice that takes the soil conditions into account from the very beginning. "After all, we always strive to deliver the optimal solution for our customers," Kellner emphasizes. Simple pile-driven foundations are installed, of course, wherever that is sufficient.

Everything was finally in place, when the new internet presence of BFtec was launched on Sept. 14, 2011. We have restructured its contents and completely redesigned its graphical layout. 

It is now easier for visitors to quickly find the information they are looking for as well as to get a better understanding of the Philippsthal-based company. For instance, the "About us -> Who we are" sub-page presents all of our employees and emphasizes that BFtec is at heart a family-operated business.

The team around Managing Director Sebastian Kellner has redesigned the website in order to encourage visitors to directly contact BFtec employees, who would be happy to answer any questions posed and provide in-depth product advice as well.
